The Alcove Room $390.00 has been rented

------------------------------------------------------

The Alcove is a beautiful room on the second floor. There is a large bay window facing south for lots of light.

The closet is huge (and will fit a bicycle for storage). The desk is black glass and has a good office chair..

The bed is a good quality with a night table and lamp. The floor is hardwood with a new area carpet. There is a ceiling fan.

This is the window, desk and chair that face south. The photo was taken at night so it's dark outside.

The desk is excellent and so is the office chair.

The Mayan Room - $390 per month is currently rented

There are three large bay windows facing north and two large windows facing Church Street. It's on the main floor of the house.

There is a good double bed with night tables and lamps, a large double teak amoire for hanging clothing, an antique maple dresser with a mirror, a large dresser and an L shaped desk. There are several chairs and a full length mirror.

This is the desk that sits in the large alcove near the bay window. The room has wall to wall carpeting in very good condition.

There is high speed wireless N Fibre Op included in the price.

The head of the double bed sits at the black onyx fireplace - it has a lovely mantle. Fireplaces in this home have been blocked off. The chimney is a seven inch which is safe for coal only. They are now decorative.

The George St 11 Room is rented at $300

It's a large room with a sunny window facing south. The double bed is new and the room is well furnished with  a desk and office type chair, a small fridge, two dressers, a sofa, a wall mirror and tack board, double bed and night table with lamps, and a large hanging space for clothing. The room is carpeted. The room is very quiet. It's cool and dry in summer and warm in the winter. High speed wireless N Fibre Op is included in the price. The room will be for rent Sept 1st, 2013 at $300 per month. It rents year round for $300.

This photo faces south - the window is 'the glare area'.
This is the lovely damask sofa with carved arms and legs. It is six feet long. It's in excellent condition.
This is the clothes hanging area. As you can see, the present tenant has moved one of the dressers back into the closet because they didn't have very many clothing items to hang on hangers.
This is the sleeping area. Sorry, the bed is not made. The tenant was packing up and preparing to leave. She kindly took photos of the room with her camera so I could put them in this posting.

Photos of the house and yard

The Victoriana Rose circa 1885. This is a well maintained heritage property located eight houses from the Saint John River on the east plat. UNB and STU are four blocks away.
Queen's Square Park is two blocks away and boasts a new million dollar pool, lighted tennis courts and ball fields - everything in the park is free of charge.
The walking/cycling trail is five houses away and neighbours leave from home to cross country skiing in winter.

This photo was taken from the air in 2008 by my friend Walt Malone, who is a professional photographer. This a a wonderful neighbourhood that is safe to walk in day or night.

There are three photos  of the backyard. There are two propane BBQ and a gazebo that are off to another area of the yard. The yard is fenced and private. There is also a locking bar bicycle shed. There is also lighting at the big pond that stays on all night. The back yard is quiet and relaxing and is used from early morning to late evening.
